Initial Thoughts

One does not have to spend long on the NuLeaf Naturals website to know that this is a company committed to promoting healthy living by providing organic, chemical-free and third-party tested products. With this in mind, we were pleased to receive our first NuLeaf CBD product and put it through our review process. We chose the 725 mg full spectrum CBD oil, which is toward the lower end of the NuLeaf range for CBD content (240 mg, 1450 mg, 2425 mg, and 4850 mg concentrations are also available). The NuLeaf bottle was plain and straightforward – no glitz here! Perhaps this is because the emphasis is on the product. The bottle arrived with a nice informational sheet that provided information on the product itself, recommended dosage, etc.

Taste (7.0 out of 10)

The taste of the NuLeaf oil was unremarkable (which is not a bad thing with CBD oils!) The taste is mild, with the expected grass-like taste that most CBD oils have. There was a peppery aftertaste that lingered, but again, this was not unpleasant.

Delivery (8.0 out of 10)

The NuLeaf oil was the second bottle we have encountered that has a bulb tip on the dropper that one uses to administer the oil. The bulb makes a definite improvement on the standard straight dropper. It seems to decrease the tendency to drip, which is a welcome feature. Delivering the oil under the tongue as recommended, we were able to measure our dosage easily using the guidelines and our own calculations.

Potency (7.3 out of 10)

As noted in the “initial thoughts” section, the 725 mg oil is a mid to lower range strength CBD oil. However, it is stronger than a number of other oils that we have selected to review so far, and therefore was a fairly potent choice for our review. At 725 mg in a 15 ml bottle, a full dropper (1 milliliter) contains nearly 50 mg of CBD. We based our review, as we have most others, on a 50 mg dose, and found the potency to be at a pretty good level for our stress-reducing goal.

Effect (7.3 out of 10)

NuLeaf makes only full-spectrum products, and we find that this is an excellent approach for the effect that we were looking for and achieved with this oil. The presence of the lesser-known cannabidiols adds to the range of ways in which the oil can assist your body and mind in achieving equilibrium. We found that the NuLeaf oil soon brought the calm and composure we seek. The day passes smoothly when one’s mind is stress-free, as ours were with this oil.

Price (8.5 out of 10)

This 15 ml bottle contains 725 mg of CBD and lists for $99. A quick calculation results in a cost of $.0725 per milligram. This is near the lowest end of the price range we have seen for CBD products, and makes this NuLeaf offering an excellent value. We have no hesitation in recommending this oil for its price, effect, and the NuLeaf commitment to quality.
