Kat’s Naturals Heal Peppermint Hemp Oil Review
Kat’s Naturals is an interesting company with an intriguing CBD product line. When we favorably reviewed their Balance CBD oil, we looked at the website and saw a number of things that merit attention. The oils are formulated to address specific needs and goals; in this case the Heal is formulated to address physical ailments. It is the highest concentration offered by Kat’s at 1500 mg. Looking around, we see that both isolate and full spectrum products are offered, small and inexpensive sizes are offered for customers to try, topicals, edibles and vapes are available, and there is a 30 day money back guarantee. The carrier oil for the CBD is hemp oil rather than coconut oil or some other choice. There’s lots to like here.
Taste (8.5 out of 10)
Heal has a pleasant taste that comes off rather strong at first, but ends up delivering a pleasing result. The ever-present grass taste of hemp is there, but the added peppermint flavoring has a refreshing kick that overrides the hemp taste. The peppermint flavor lingers in the mouth for a few minutes and is actually refreshing.
Delivery (8.0 out of 10)
Heal has an eye dropper for dispensing the oil, which is the most common method for CBD oils. The fact that it is common doesn’t mean we like it, but we have learned to deal with pre-measuring our dosage and avoiding messy drips. If that’s the worst gripe we have about a product, that’s not bad! As mentioned above, the peppermint flavor provides a refreshing kick, and the oil is light, so that the delivery is pleasant enough.
Potency (9.0 out of 10)
Our review bottle of Heal contains 1500 mg of CBD in a 15 ml bottle, resulting in a concentration of 100 mg CBD per ml. This is incredibly high up on the CBD potency scale compared to most of the oils we have reviewed. (There is also a 5 ml bottle and a 30 ml bottle available, containing the same concentration of 100 mg/ml). This is Kat’s highest potency oil and its most popular product.
Effect (9.0 out of 10)
As one would hope with a high-potency oil, we found that Heal delivered on its promise. The days when we took Heal passed in calm, focused pleasantness, and we just felt good. Sleep was also peaceful and untroubled. Maybe it is the specific formulation or the hemp oil carrier, but this is an effective oil.
Price (9.0 out of 10)
This 15 ml bottle contains 1500 mg of CBD and the price has been reduced recently to $79. A quick calculation results in a cost of $.053 per milligram. This is near the lowest end of the price range we have seen for CBD products, and makes this Kat’s Naturals offering an excellent value. We have no hesitation in recommending this oil for its price, potency, and effect.

Kat’s Naturals Balance CBD Oil Review
Kat’s Naturals presents itself with a clean design and a focus on wellness. The website touts a 100% organic product and process. With the availability of a sample size, it’s easy to give Kat’s products a try. (and we think you should) We decided to go with the Balance CBD oil, which the website suggests helps with concentration, a brightened mood and improved digestive health. After having a chance to review the product, we have a few suggestions for Kat’s, but would be happy to purchase other products from them. Most importantly, we’re looking forward to trying the Heal CBD oil, which has a higher potency than the Balance CBD Oil.
Taste (9.0 out of 10)
We love oils that succeed in making taking CBD pleasant. Kat’s Balance CBD oil excelled in this area. The oil was incredibly smooth and we feel that it is closer to a tincture than some of the thicker oils we have tried. There is a light hemp taste to start, but a subtle mint flavoring has been mixed in. Without overpowering, the mint did the job of masking the hemp and, unlike some more concentrated products, there was no peppery aftertaste. We found the taking of Kat’s Balance CBD to be, overall, quite pleasant. As a bonus, this product has little-to-no aftertaste.
Delivery (8.0 out of 10)
Per usual, we’re going to knock Kat’s for using a standard dropper bottle. It’s messy and somewhat uninspired from what some other companies are doing to improve the delivery experience of CBD oils. However, the oil itself is very light and easy to work with. There are no end-of-bottle clumps and, even if you do spill some, the oil is very clear compared to others – with only a slight tinge of yellow color. So, a slight knock for the standard bottle, but an A+ on the product inside.
Potency (5.0 out of 10)
The potency here is average and, quite frankly, that is likely on purpose with Kat’s Balance CBD oil. While some companies pay lip service to wellness and health, we feel that Kat’s means business with their Balance line. Kat’s does offer a higher potency oil with their “Heal” line of CBD oils, but the Balance product is not high potency. That in itself would be fine, but we also like to keep an eye on value. If you do prefer a higher potency for your money, this probably isn’t going to be your go-to CBD oil. You simply have to use to much of it. For those that are focused more on the health and sustainability aspect of Kat’s products, the potency should be right in line with expectations.
Effect (6.0 out of 10)
The hardest thing about Kat’s product is that there is little guidance on the actual product in regards to dosing. Yes, it is on the website, but it should be on the bottle. After procuring this CBD oil, we noticed that the product labeling we received on our shipment was different from what we saw online. That would be fine, except the bottle had no dosing instructions. We did the math and figured it out. But, you shouldn’t have to. In any event, the potency level implies what we felt in terms of effect. Yes, this is quality CBD oil. Yes, we felt great after taking our standard dose. However, to get our standard testing dose it’s more oil than we care to administer for a morning routine.
Price (6.0 out of 10)
Kat’s Balance CBD Oil is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive CBD oil on the market. But, on a price-per-milligram basis, the product is on the upper end of the spectrum. Kat’s website states that there are 750mg of full-spectrum CBD in each ounce of Balance product. As such, this CBD oil sample came in at roughly $.20 per milligram. That’s almost double the average price-per-milligram we see elsewhere. We believe that those focused more on the extra attributes of Kat’s product (organic, sustainable) will find this premium easy to digest. However, if you’re looking for the most CBD for your buck, you may find more luck elsewhere. In any event, we thoroughly enjoyed Kat’s product.
