Curb Appeal (9.0 out of 10)

We usually call this section “bag appeal” when we review CBD flower, but that doesn’t quite fit a preroll form factor. This single pre-roll came attractively displayed in a sealed, lipstick-emblazoned giftable card package, accompanied by an elegant gold lighter. The pre-roll itself was smoothly rolled, logo-imprinted, with consistently ground flower peeking out the open end. Upon opening, the aroma from the joint was fresh and pleasant – a floral aroma with strong berry overtones. This is a package and product that catches the eye and pleases the nose. There are 4-pack and 12-pack options available, and a special “Last Prisoner Project” pre-roll, which donates 50% of the price to fight for those who have been imprisoned for low-level cannabis offenses.

User Experience (8.5 out of 10)

We usually vaporize ground flower for our reviews, so we were expecting that a pure smoking experience would be stronger, potentially harsher experience. We were pleasantly surprised, then, to light up this CBD joint and find a smooth, pleasant smoke. The slim, long-filtered wrap smoked evenly and cleanly. No harshness, no coughing (we drew lightly, which is always a good idea when smoking). The hint of Cherry Blossom flavor added to the pleasantness. It doesn’t take long to feel the stress melt away (see effect description below). Her Highness pictures you, a warm bath, and a glass of wine to complete the experience, and that seems about right.

Potency (8.5 out of 10)

Her Highness recommends taking 1 to 3 puffs, waiting a moment, and then either smoking more or putting it aside for later. After a few gentle puffs, we definitely agree with this advice. This deceptively elegant CBD joint packs an indica-fortified punch. The price for a single joint may seem high, but the potency of this one makes it suitable for multiple smoking sessions. As required for CBD products, the THC content is kept below 0.3%, and the percentages are printed on the package along with cultivation date, batch ID, etc. Our one complaint is that the certificate of analysis that we always want to see was difficult to find on the website. In the future, we hope that Her Highness makes their COAs front and center.

Effect (8.5 out of 10)

This slim touch of elegance was waiting to surprise us, and it sure did. After just a few puffs, we felt a soothing wave of relaxation flow throughout our bodies. Indica is known for this effect, and this Indica-heavy pre-roll from Her Highness certainly delivers on that promise. We got the deep relaxation without the THC brain fog to cloud the mind, so the experience was perfect for a relaxing evening. We only needed a small part of the joint to put us in that deeply relaxed state, and were able to enjoy the experience more than once.

Price (7.0 out of 10)

This is a difficult metric to apply to Her Highness products. For one thing, the products are all about the glamour and the specific appeal to women’s desires, with cost being a secondary consideration. In addition, most of the products here are bundled with extra touches beyond just CBD content. For example, our single preroll came packaged with a slim gold butane lighter, which is awesome. Having said that, we still have to rate these products as being a bit on the pricey side relative to bulk flower. We suspect, however, that glamorous appeal and quality will override this concern for many.
