Initial Thoughts
As the name suggests, CBD Luxe carries the image of a luxury CBD product. You could be forgiven for assuming that this makes it “all show, no go”, but you’d be mistaken. Every one of the ingredients used by CBD Luxe is Non-GMO and organic, made from Colorado Department of Agriculture certified hemp. The brand really pays attention to what it puts inside its products, ensuring that customers can get the very best out of their CBD products. The first thing you notice right off the bat is the packaging. It exudes a high-quality image that matches the brand name, making you feel like you are getting a high end CBD product. This is not to knock any other CBD brands out there, it’s just that CBD Luxe goes the extra mile when preparing their products. Speaking of extra miles, this CBD Luxe “Be Calm” 1000 mg Full Spectrum Hemp Oil comes in a 30 ml bottle. The industry standard is 15ml, sp this bottle gets you more CBD and less frequent refills.

The CBD Luxe Be Calm oil has been blended with chamomile, valerian, lavender, and honey, ingredients intended to soother and relax. These ingredients are intended to deliver the desired calming effect, but they have the added benefit of giving this oil a pleasant taste. The first drop of the oil provides you a lightly honey tinged taste, smooth and not too sweet. There is a bit of hemp aftertaste, which is not unusual for most CBD oils.
Delivery (7.5 out of 10)
Delivery takes form in the typical CBD oil method, the eyedropper, which is the predominant method when it comes to CBD oils. The CBD Luxe eyedropper adds the nice touch of dosage marks on the barrel, making accurate dosages easier. In addition, there is a bulb at the end of the dropper, which tends to reduce the dripping that plagues many droppers. As noted above under taste, this oil is thin and smooth, making it an easy one for daily use.
Potency (8.0 out of 10)
At 1000 mg, the CBD Luxe oil has enough CBD to last a while. The recommended serving size is 33mg, which is a common amount. If you don’t need that much for your dosage, it’s easy to measure a smaller amount by the markings on the eyedropper. More importantly, though, if you need that higher serving of CBD, you don’t have to consume multiple droppers as you would with many 250 or 500mg products. Like the 1000mg CBD Oil from CBDistillery, there is a good balance between strength and volume here. As usual, start with a partial dropper and move up until you reach the desired effect.
Effect (8.5 out of 10)
Our review team made the CBD Luxe oil an evening routine, with the goal of achieving sound sleep in mind. We agreed that our evenings were relaxed, leading into sound sleep. This isn’t to say that this oil will knock you out, just that the calming ingredients seem to make for good sleep when you do lay down your head. We also took this one during the day, and we got the calmness we look for but we weren’t made to feel sleepy.

The price of the CBD Luxe Organic Non-GMO Ultra Premium Nighttime CBD Tincture 1000 mg is $75. That factors at about 7.5 cents per milligram, which is in the low end of the price range that we see in CBD oils. This makes the CBD Luxe tincture a very good value – a luxury product at a bargain price.

We took a look beyond the elegant packaging to see how this tincture spray measured up. CBD Luxe products use ingredients that are Non-GMO and organic, made from Colorado Department of Agriculture certified hemp. As we insist for any products we review, CBD Luxe has their products independently 3rd-party tested for potency and purity.
Taste (7.6 out of 10)
The CBD Luxe Tincture Spray is a mild-tasting tincture. We got the mint-flavored spray, and found that the mint taste is understated to say the least. The typical grassy hemp taste is noticeably absent from this spray. You’re left with the hint of mint, which tastes like a mild breath mint – not a bad thing. CBD Luxe offers Tincture Sprays in mint and original flavors. We haven’t tried the original flavor, so no comment there. For this mint spray, however, we generally enjoyed the taste and felt like we had freshened our breath to boot!
Delivery (7.2 out of 10)
We have only tried a few CBD tinctures that are delivered by spray (see our Plus CBD review) – the usual method is an eye dropper. We have made it known that we are not big fans of droppers, and so we are happy to find another alternative.
Rather than the dripping that one has to be careful about when using a dropper, all one has to do is aim and pump the spray cap to use this product. The nice part of this is the feeling that the spray is finding all surfaces of your mouth. Does this enhance absorption? We can’t say for sure, but it feels like it does. There’s an obvious drawback to the spray delivery method; how do you know what dosage you are giving yourself? We know that the bottle has 1000 mg of CBD, but we don’t know how much is delivered in one spray pump.
We urge CBD Luxe to provide some guidance for users of this product. Just letting us know how much CBD is in one pump would be a welcome bit of information. Without that we’re flying blind. Our score for this metric would rise dramatically if we had serving guidance.
Potency (8.0 out of 10)
This Broad Spectrum tincture contains 1000 milligrams of oil in a 30 ml (I oz.) bottle. We were left to guess what our CBD dosage was, as explained above. So, not knowing exactly, we sprayed until we estimated we had gotten 30 to 40 milligrams of CBD. We must have estimated well, because we definitely noted the expected CBD effect through our bodies and minds. See comments in the “Effect” section.
Effect (8.0 out of 10)
This tincture spray falls into the “subtle but certain” effect category. Some tinctures come on strong and wash over you. Others slowly work in the background, putting things in order and bringing gentle relief. This is one of the latter types.
We like to have CBD that eases the mind into calm focus and the body into comfortable equilibrium. Again, we must have estimated well on the dosage, because this is exactly the effect we received.
Even though we don’t review topicals yet, we couldn’t resist spraying this tincture on our skin to see what we would feel. Immediately there was a tingling like you would feel from a BioFreeze™ type product. After a short wait for the skin to absorb the tincture, we felt it soothing the soreness.
CBD Luxe and BE Labs have tremendous experience in cannabinoids and plant-based products, and the results of that research show in this quality product.

Can this be right? At the time of this review, the 1000 mg CBD Luxe oil is priced at $19.99, marked down from $49.99. This puts the cost at an astonishing 2 cents per milligram of CBD. We have never seen quality CBD priced so low. We normally expect a range of 5 to 15 cents per milligram, so the quality and effectiveness of this oil at 2 cents puts it in a category all its own. Grab some of this double duty sublingual and topical spray before CBD Luxe wakes up and raises the price.

The innovative power behind CBD Luxe is its parent company BE Labs. A plant-based science company, BE Labs has several brands and years of research focused on cannabinoids such as CBD as well as other health and wellness plant-based products.
One indicator that tips us off to a solid company is when that company is asked to white-label products for other brands. BE Labs does that, providing CBD formulations for other companies to sell under their own brand. That tells us that companies expect and receive quality products made by BE Labs.

Why Tincture Sprays?
We already tried a CBD Luxe oil (read our review here), and we were curious to move on to their tincture spray. You obviously get a method of ingesting the tincture that is different from the eye droppers we usually see. We wondered how that would affect delivery.
Beyond that, we saw that CBD Luxe advises that this spray can also be used as a topical to be sprayed on the skin. Spray it on, rub it in, and soothe your aches. Note – we don’t review topicals at this time, so this review will focus on the sublingual ingestion of the spray.
