We tested the 500 mg Peppermint flavored tincture, and found it to have a mild, mostly pleasant taste. There is the inevitable “grassy” flavor of CBD present, but the peppermint flavoring overcomes it and the combined outcome is fairly subtle. There are other flavors available (Cinnamon and Unflavored), but we have not sampled these just yet. All in all, our peppermint tincture would be a pleasant daily choice.
Delivery (8.0 out of 10)
Be Well Dexter uses the common dropper as their delivery method. Regular readers know that we are not wild about droppers, due to the potential for drips, but we recognize that it is pretty standard, and our score here reflects that. The tincture itself is smooth, and this combined with the taste results in a pleasant experience overall.
Potency (7.7 out of 10)
The tincture that we reviewed was a 500 mg oil, which is a middle-strength oil favored by many on a CBD regimen. As the industry has progressed over the years, we have witnessed a rise is potency that would push this towards the lower end. But, for the casual user, 500mg is a solid potency to start with. A dropper full will nominally deliver 16.6 mg of CBD, a fairly common dosage. Other strengths are available (1000 mg, 1500 mg), so users can choose a more potent formulation if so desired.
Effect (8.4 out of 10)
Our review team felt that the Be Well Dexter full spectrum tincture delivered nicely at the 500 mg strength. It’s not overpowering, but also detectable. We look for a feeling of calm, and a calming effect that lasts. This oil delivered on expectations at this potency for the review team, with a sense of mild calm settling in. BWD stresses the quality of their ingredients and processes, and the results we felt seem to support their claims.

The Be Well Dexter Gummies come in an assorted mix of flavors, including; green apple, strawberry, grape, blue raspberry, lemon and orange. As such, you’re going to get a mix of flavors here to choose from. We noted that the taste of each flavor is pretty on-point, with just the slightest bit of an acidic aftertaste. The texture is tougher than a store-bought gummy, which is slightly off. Overall, the flavor is pretty good. Green Roads and Infused Edibles top these gummies on taste, but they’re towards the top of the pack.
Delivery (9.0 out of 10)
We can’t think of many reasons not to like the delivery of the Be Well Dexter 25mg Edibles. These gummies are easy take with you on-the-go and easy to dose. The only reason we’re taking off a point is that the texture is slightly off and atypical of a standard gummy. Dosing is slightly more complicated as the amount of CBD in each individual gummy is higher. But, if you want less milligrams per dose, a quick half bite will do the trick. Unlike oils or vapes, there is no mess with the Be Well Dexter Gummies and it is easy to be discreet at work or in a social setting.
Potency (8.0 out of 10)
At 25mg per gummy, one gummy is going to deliver a pretty decent dose of CBD. It’s not the highest, as some edibles clock in at 50mg per gummy. But, 25mg per gummy is going to be higher than most. If you know your dosage is some multiple of 25mg, this is going to be the perfect size and potency for you. As with most edibles, the equivalent dosage of CBD in an oil is probably going to be easier on your wallet. But, you can’t beat the convenience here with this potency.
Effect (8.0 out of 10)
With our standard test dose taken, we found that these CBD edibles from Be Well Dexter quickly calmed our nerves and delivered the effect we expect from CBD products. The effect was not as powerful as some of the higher potency gummies we have consumed at the same dosage. But, that was also not unexpected. These medium-strong 25mg gummies are going to delivering the calming sensation expected without knocking your socks off. Overall, a very well rounded product here from Be Well Dexter.
